About OMD*UUYAN

The Ohio-Meadville District (OMD) of the Unitarian Universalist Association encompasses

    • Southwestern New York,
    • Western Pennsylvania,
    • Almost all of Ohio,
    • and all of West Virginia.

The OMD contains 46 Unitarian Universalist congregations. Taken together those congregations have more than five thousand (5,000) active members over the age of 18.

The OMD Unitarian Universalist Young Adult Network (OMD*UUYAN) overlays the OMD geographically. Our focus is on Unitarian Universalist "young adults", defined as those people between the ages of 18 and 35 (inclusive).

Purpose of the OMD*UUYAN

The OMD*UUYAN gathers young adults for fun and fellowship. Further, we gather to explore spirituality during what can be a particularly turbulent stage of life.

The OMD*UUYAN is primarily governed by the district Steering Committee.

OMD*UUYAN Steering Committee

Committee Co-Facilitators: Erick Williams and Bree Hooper
    Newsletter Facilitator: Ahmie Yeung
Database Coordinator and Webmaster: Liz Dell
