Youth Adult Committee (YAC)

The Youth Adult Committee is made up of mostly youth and some youth-friendly adults who plan and organized youth conferences for youth ages 12 to 19 in the district. The staff person who works with this committee is Jan Gartner, Program Consultant for Lifepan Faith Development and Youth Ministries.

YAC plans several conferences and hold several committee meetings each year. To get registration forms and information, visit the YAC website at www.ohiomeadville.org/yac You can find directions to these churches from the congregation pages. In addition the district offers several youth oriented trainings each year. They are also listed below. The following conferences and meetings are planned for 2010-2011. If you cannot find a training in our district, try checking our neighboring district calendars - links to our surrounding districts are listed at the end of this section.

Registration for all yac conferences is $25 per person, sponsors are free. Registration for the Summer YAC Meeting is $25 per person, and registration for all other YAC meetings is $10 per person. See the page for any training conferences for details on schedule and costs.

Online registration holds your place for the conference or meeting, however, you are still responsible for getting your sponsor and permission forms signed and bringing them to the con or meeting along with your money.
