Lifespan Faith Development Committee

The Lifespan Faith Development Committee is responsible for assisting the district's congregations in supporting and growing their religious education programs. The committee does this by sponsoring Renaissance Modules, Our Whole Lives Teacher Trainings, the Annual Curriculum Fair, workshops on religious education topics at the District Assembly and an email discussion list for religious education leaders in our district churches. The committee also helps to increase the district's library holdings. The committee works directly with the Acting Program Consultant for Lifespan Faith Development and Youth Ministry, Rev. Tom Bodie and indirectly with theYoung Adult and Campus Ministry Consultant.

The mission of the Lifespan Faith Development Committee is: The Lifespan Faith Development Committee exists to provide district and denominational resources and spiritual support to all OMD Religious Education professionals and volunteers in order to foster quality and relevant congregational programs in keeping with the values of Unitarian Universalism. In so doing, a community of peers, which promotes and encourages safety, accountability, and integrity is created which lays the groundwork for the future of Unitarian Universalism.
